Tea Dances

At Tea Time Dance, we are especially known for our friendly Ballroom tea dance events and are becoming increasingly popular throughout London. Our tea dances combine wonderful Ballroom and Latin music with a welcoming, relaxed social atmosphere where dancers of all abilities can enjoy an afternoon of dancing, conversation and refreshments. They are great events to attend for practicing, learning and even simply watching Ballroom and Latin dancing. We are a friendly community, welcoming everybody at all levels. Whether you come alone or with friends, partners and/or teachers, you’ll always find a warm welcome on the dance floor. Tea, coffee and refreshments are included.

Professional Dance Hosts

Not everyone has a regular dance partner and you may like to attend a tea dance with a professional dancer. It is the perfect combination of continued learning and practice, while still enjoying the fun, social elements of Ballroom dancing. Tea Time Dance can assist in putting you in touch with professional dance hosts who help students enjoy every tea dance event with confidence. Our professional dance hosts create an enjoyable and supportive dancing experience while helping improve timing, musicality, connection and floorcraft. They are all qualified professionals, dancing to an extremely high level. It is possible to share costs and time between multiple people, so come and talk to us to find find out more.

​​Tea Dance at Parsons Green every Monday 1pm

​

Monday tea dances are held at the St Dionis Church, Parsons Green which is a beautiful venue that is such a pleasure to visit. Recently renovated, with a new floor and sound system and plenty of space to dance. Located a few minutes from Parsons Green Tube Station on the District Line, just off the Green. Come out the Station exit, turn to your right. It is well worth checking out.

Tea Dance at Shepherds Bush every Wednesday 12:30pm

Wednesday tea dances are held at the Edward Woods Community Centre, a short walk from Shepherds Bush Tube Station on the Central or Overground Lines. It is a cost friendly option, such good value at only £6 for 3 hours. They have a real community feel and are always so much fun! Come and join us!

Special Events

Throughout the year we also hold some special celebrations for birthdays, Easter and Christmas where there will be additional food, drink, games, prizes and occasionally balloons! Come and talk to us if you would like to celebrate your birthday with us. We love a birthday cake!
